I was born in Taiwan and completed my bachelor’s degree at National Taiwan University. afterward, I joined Prof. Sean Sun’s group in Johns Hopkins University for my master’s degree, developing the constitutive model of bacterial cell wall and how it affects the morphology of the cell. Driven by my strong interests in biomedical engineering and nanotechnology, I joined Prof. Chih-Ming Ho’s Group in 2010, focusing on controlling and optimizing the response of complex biological networks. I am currently working on two projects. The first project involves using quantum dot to deliver optimized drug cocktail to treat multi drug resistant breast cancer. The second project aims to boost up the efficiency of batch format cell free protein synthesis reactor by triggering multiple cellular pathways.
